🔥 Heat Press Settings (Transfer to Vinyl)

📝 Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Prepare & Print Your Design

• • Ensure your design is mirrored and print it on sublimation paper using sublimation ink.
  • Import the corresponding cut file (or the design itself if your software supports print & cut) into your cutting machine’s software.
    

2. Heat Press Setup & Transfer to Vinyl

• • Place the sublimation vinyl/sticker material face up (printable/sublimatable side up) on your heat press.
  • Align the printed sublimation paper face down on top of the vinyl.
  • Cover with silicon paper or a Teflon sheet to protect your heat press platen.
  • Press using the settings above (190°C, 40 seconds, light pressure).
  • Once pressed, carefully remove the sublimation paper from the vinyl.
    

3. Cut Your Design

• • Load the now sublimated vinyl into your cutting machine.
  • Use your cutting machine to cut out the pattern, ensuring it aligns with the transferred design (use registration marks if your system supports them).
  • Weed (remove) any excess vinyl from around your cut design.
  • | Tip: You can also cut the design manually with scissors or a craft knife after transferring the design if you do not have a cutting machine.

• Light Pressure: Prevents excessive squashing or melting of the vinyl material.
• Accurate Cutting: For clean, professional-looking stickers, ensure your cutting machine is well-calibrated, or cut carefully by hand.
