📝 Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Printing Your Design
    • Use a high-quality print setting on your inkjet printer for the best results.
    • CRITICAL: Ensure you mirror the image in your printer settings or design software before printing.
    • Allow the printed sheet to dry for at least 10 minutes before proceeding.

  1. Prepare Press & Garment
    • Preheat your heat press machine to 185°C (365°F).
    • Briefly pre-press your textile for 3-5 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles.

  1. Position & Press the Transfer
    • Place the printed transfer sheet on the textile with the printed (image) side facing down against the fabric.
    • Press for 15-30 seconds using medium to firm pressure.
    • | Tip: You can cover with a thin cotton cloth or parchment paper for extra protection, though not always necessary.

  1. Peel the Backing Paper
    • Remove the textile from the machine.
    • Peel off the backing paper while it is still warm/hot. Peel smoothly and evenly for the best results.

🧺 Washing Instructions

  • Wait 24 Hours: Allow at least 24 hours before the first wash to let the transfer fully cure.
  • Inside-Out: Wash the textile inside-out to protect the transferred image.
  • Gentle Care: Use a cool or warm water wash on a gentle cycle. Avoid bleach or harsh detergents.
  • Drying: Tumble dry on low heat or hang dry for best longevity.

⚠️ Key Tips for Success

  • Mirror, Mirror, Mirror! This is crucial for light transfers; otherwise, your image will be backward.
  • Warm Peel is Key: Peeling while warm generally gives the smoothest finish for light transfers.
  • Test First: If possible, test on a scrap piece of similar fabric to fine-tune your settings.
