📝 Step-by-Step Instructions
- Printing Your Design
- Use a high-quality print setting on your inkjet printer for the best results.
- CRITICAL: Ensure you mirror the image in your printer settings or design software before printing.
- Allow the printed sheet to dry for at least 10 minutes before proceeding.
- Prepare Press & Garment
- Preheat your heat press machine to 185°C (365°F).
- Briefly pre-press your textile for 3-5 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles.
- Position & Press the Transfer
- Place the printed transfer sheet on the textile with the printed (image) side facing down against the fabric.
- Press for 15-30 seconds using medium to firm pressure.
- | Tip: You can cover with a thin cotton cloth or parchment paper for extra protection, though not always necessary.
- Peel the Backing Paper
- Remove the textile from the machine.
- Peel off the backing paper while it is still warm/hot. Peel smoothly and evenly for the best results.
🧺 Washing Instructions
- Wait 24 Hours: Allow at least 24 hours before the first wash to let the transfer fully cure.
- Inside-Out: Wash the textile inside-out to protect the transferred image.
- Gentle Care: Use a cool or warm water wash on a gentle cycle. Avoid bleach or harsh detergents.
- Drying: Tumble dry on low heat or hang dry for best longevity.
⚠️ Key Tips for Success
- Mirror, Mirror, Mirror! This is crucial for light transfers; otherwise, your image will be backward.
- Warm Peel is Key: Peeling while warm generally gives the smoothest finish for light transfers.
- Test First: If possible, test on a scrap piece of similar fabric to fine-tune your settings.
